COMPUTERS, COMPUTERS AND MORE:

Our goal is to make StGC the best IT school in Jamaica.
We need your help.
Send us your older computers, printers and scanners.
Help us purchase new ones.  
Help us buy software and reference CDs for our library.

PAINT, PAINT & MORE PAINT:

We need to repaint the classrooms and the offices.
We need some assistance in acquiring lots of paint and brushes and rollers.
We have the labour (parents and students), but need some help
in getting supplies.  Can you help us with just a few gallons?

SUPPORT TUITION FOR A NEEDY STUDENT:   

For just J$15,500 (US$260), you can support a student with his school fees for a whole year.   Some of our students come from the poorest of neighborhoods.    There are some Sixth Form students who cannot attend due to a lack of funds.   Please help to support them.    We offer an opportunity for you to "name" the scholarship in honour of a loved one, a revered teacher or friend.

BUY a MEAL for a NEEDY STUDENT:

We offer almost 100 Breakfasts and Lunches each day to students who come from the most disadvantaged backgrounds.  For J$200 (US$3.50) a day or J$1,000 (US$17.00) a week,  you can feed a student breakfast and lunch.

COMPUTERS and I.T. MATERIALS:

We seek to make StGC the Number One IT school in Jamaica, but we need your help!
From computers to software to printers. 
Anything you can send us, we can use.   
Our students are in dire need of hardware to use, and we need more.

ADOPT A CLASSROOM:   There are almost 50 classrooms and laboratories at St. George's College.   Almost all still have the same wooden chairs and slate blackboards from the year they were built - almost all are decades old.
Help us put in newer student desks and new blackboards and paint the walls.  Help us add bulletin boards and even a fan.   Our science labs and art studios and industrial arts rooms need new equipment and renovated facilities.  Let us know if you are willing to help and we will let you know what you can do.  Adopt a whole classroom or even a whole building and we will name it after you or as a memorial to a loved one.

SUPPORT A SCHOLARSHIP STUDENT:     The Jesuit Scholars Programme

Several Jesuit Universities in the U.S. have offered tuition scholarships to our graduates, but students must provide room and board.
We need people who can help support a StGC graduate study at Holy Cross, Le Moyne College, Boston College, Georgetown or St. Louis University.   Establish a Scholarship in a loved one's name.  

Financial aid of US$8,500 is needed annually for each of the scholar's four years.  
In exchange, each Jesuit Scholar has agreed to return to teach at St. George's College
for two years after graduation.   Help us support this new programme!
